Since the French retailer Printemps have their own display of Alice in Wonderland, it's only fair that Bloomingdale's does too!

Soon the New York department store's 59th Street windows will be getting a Burton-ized makeover to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated flick.

On display will be actual props from the set as well as Wonderland inspired fashion such as Tom Binns jewelry line and dresses by Sue Wong. And to sweeten the deal, seven other Bloomie's locations will be screening behind-the-scenes and bonus footage in stores.

Exciting!

Are U looking forward to Alice In Wonderland taking over???

VIA COCO PEREZ

Dance in the Deep

I "stumbled upon" (stumbleupon.com) this picture and it amazes me.
As a former ballerina and lover of mermaids, this kind of shoot would be a dream come ture for me. Perhaps one day...until then feel free to send me any other ballerina/mermaid pics that inspire you!

In other news, my best friend Caroline has agreed to make me a tutu! As we are both former dancers suffering from withdrawl, we find outselves drawn to ballet-esque apparel. Sooooo when I ACCIDENTLY ripped her huge old tulle dress (it was alread being held together by saftey pins, mind you), rather than sulking she took it as an oppourtunity and made this beauty.
It's actually hand sewn--I have no idea how she has the patience, ever since I've learned to use a machine I've never gone back. She posted it on lookbook and got over 800 hype. Needless to say, we're not the only ones who love it. I can wait till I get a "Caroline Original" haha, I promise to take pics!! :)
If you're interested in more of Carolines looks go here
If you're interested in any of my looks go here

That's all I've got for now, leave comments & I'll check out your blog too :D It's a twofer, as I say it!
XOXO

Get to Know Me

For those of you who don't know me, here's your chance. I got this idea from a game I play with my "model friends". When we're waiting or just bored we'll play around and go through each other's portfolios adding quotes to pictures and making up stories. So I'm going to that with some of my pictures for you all. I have many different sides, especially when it comes to style. There's no distinct style I wear; it varies day by day. I hope you enjoy!
I'm a baby! Haha not really.

I was always a dreamer

I dreamed of being a princess

Ten years later it came true ;)

Girl scouts was fun....

But ballet was always more my thing.

I thought maybe I could just "Dance Through Life"
But we all have obstacles we must overcome

It's "the climb" ;)

Sometimes I'm somewhat of an ice queen

Or an animal

Sometimes I feel helpless.

There are good times

& the bad times

Those times where you just want to curl up in a corner

But we must continue on

Yet never forget

Take a deep breath,

& just be ourselves

I WON THE ZOE MYERS SNUGGIE :)

We did it!
Thanks to all who supported me I'm so excited :)
I chose a black one and I can't wait to get it, take a look.

I PROMISE to take pictures once I get it. And I know, I know I never took pictures of my purchases but what can I say, school is rough! I will soon, pinkie swear!
To make up for it I'm going to post random pictures of inspiration for you all...hopefully you'll enjoy them as much as I do.

What's Been Going on Lately... :)

So as usual I'm totally slacking on this blog! School is tough, man! Haha well here's some random tidbits I thought I'd share with you all.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND TREND.
I opened my email today only to find an email from Closet Couture about the top 5 must haves for 2010. First on the list was none other than Alice in Wonderland inspired wardrobe! Am I right on trend or what?! Lol, you can read the rest of the article here :) I'm not so sure how a I feel about the military trends...I can't help of the disastrous army pants I experienced in my younger years, hopefully it shall be updated into something CHIC and similar to those fab band jackets! As for silk shirts and cardigans I was a little confused, what kind of silk shirts exactly? hmmm....but I love leopard (yes i'm such an old lady) and spots and lightweight leather sounds adorable...I can't wait till it starts to get warm.

RETAIL THERAPY.
It's been a tough week so far, why are teacher suddenly piling the work on?! So today I proposed to my Mom that my sister, she, and I should go shopping at our favorite consignment store, The Closet Exchange. We love the lady there, and she was having a big sale plus she emailed us $10 gift cards! The first thing that caught my eye was a peachy orange tweed jacket, with some green plaid-ish in it (i'll take pics later i know i suck at explaining) from Zara (a store similar to H&M for those who don't know), for a measly $8. It remind me of something from Anthropologie. My big find was a black, genuine leather, almost to the knee boots with a bunch of zipper detail, brand new "Steven" brand for only $17. Like usual, I found something that was basically made to go with another find. An AMAZING black long, genuine leather jacket also with a plethora of zippers (like the boots) originally from Express, BRAND NEW, and absolutely beautiful. The even more amazing thing is that it's original price was $500 and I scored it for an unbelievable....hold your breath...$30. It was fantastical. But that's not all haha! I found yet another brand new pair of boots, which are real suede in beige, lace up, with threads. Basically very bohemian which is great because I need to get on that trend! ha. My final score was a wonderful, black band jacket from American Eagle....I know American Eagle, kinda lame but this jacket is right on trend and just what I was looking for. Plus it's soooo SOFT :) and only like $10. So those were my finds for the day, very fulfilling, and great therapy. I pinky swear pictures later!!!

ZOE MYERS.
Maybe you have heard of her maybe you haven't, but she is notoriously known for dating Kevin Jonas at the start of his career. But she's A LOT cooler than those lame-os. Anyway, I'm a huge fan and she is having a twitter contest to win a Zoe Snuggie! which i realllyyyyy want :) But I need your help!! Follow her on twitter here and tell her xosteffantor sent you ( & while you're at it follow me on twitter here ;) ), add her on facebook here or myspace here and tell her Steffie Price sent you. If you're interested in who she is, listen to her songs on MySpace (my personal fav is love me or hate me), check out her website here & join her street team here.

That's all I've got to say for now! I promise for a new post with pictures soon, haha so stay tuned and tell your friends ;)
